Southern Trowels has been contracted by Rosemullion Homes to construct nine 3 and 4 bedroom detached homes with sea views, all of traditional build.

The development is located in the picturesque Cornish village and vibrant community of Portscatho, conveniently located on the Roseland Peninsular for access to St. Mawes and onto Truro and Falmouth via the King Harry Ferry.

An outstanding marine development of the highest quality in a stunning waterfront position with views to St Michaels Mount and private access to steps to the beach.

The waterfront homes at St Michaels Reach are built traditionally using high quality materials throughout.

Contracted by Rosemullion Homes, Southern Trowels has built the new, affordable homes development at Polruan, Cornwall, consisting of 15 units to the north of the village.

Southern Trowels was contracted to build the Retallack complex which included the construction of the resort’s signature 4 to 8 bed lodges with Surf Pods. The resort boasts leisure activities, kids facilities, kids academy during school holidays, bar, restaurant, health club, indoor pool and spa, and the resort was also featured on TV hosting the Flow Rider Competition.

This £3.5million development of Luxury apartments over six stories, overlooking the Estuary of Looe, was constructed of all natural stone.  Working in close contact with the client to design and build specifications.

Situated on the South East Cornish coast, the Officers Mess was constructed in 1848 to serve the artillery battery below and formed part of the chain of forts protecting against possible Napoleonic invasion.

The conversion of this Grade II listed building was a £3.5million scheme and included the addition of two new penthouses based on the east and west turrets that feature magnificent views over Plymouth Sound.

The work involved stripping the masonry cementitious render, re-pointing in lime mortar, and involved the restoration of much of the original fabric.

This £4.5million contract consisted of 15 Luxury dwellings adjacent to the Golf Club consisting of all natural stone.

Southern Trowels constructed the sub- and super-structure.

This £6.5million contract consists of 18 Luxury apartments overlooking Torquay seafront.  Southern Trowels were contracted to complete sub-structure and super-structure, combined with a carpentry contract and the supply of skilled site labourers.

We were responsible for conducting Risk Assessments, producing method statements, implementing Health and Safety policies and delivering Tool Box talks.  Organising the supply of materials was a major part of the contract.

Working closely with site management and projects managers, we have met the time schedules set.
