Situated on the South East Cornish coast, the Officers Mess was constructed in 1848 to serve the artillery battery below and formed part of the chain of forts protecting against possible Napoleonic invasion.
The conversion of this Grade II listed building was a £3.5million scheme and included the addition of two new penthouses based on the east and west turrets that feature magnificent views over Plymouth Sound.
The work involved stripping the masonry cementitious render, re-pointing in lime mortar, and involved the restoration of much of the original fabric.
